About Turner and Dickens Walk
Starting at the Thanet Visitor Information Centre in Margate, next to the Turner Contemporary Art Gallery, this easy access walk suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs takes you through Margate Old Town, past Dane Valley Woods and into open parkland, through the village of St Peters; keep an eye out for Drapers Mill and Crampton Tower Museum. Finally, head into Broadstairs and the Dickens House Museum.
Broadstairs mosaic artist, Martin Cheek, worked with children from two schools close to the walk to create three mosaics, installed along the way.
